Shuttling customers at both locations around town as their vehicle’s being serviced. Occasionally will also deliver tires to our wholesale accounts, and pick up used tires for disposal. Keep track of miles logged per day, how often gas is needed for vehicle, keep shuttle vehicle(s) clean and well represented at all times. Keep track of vehicle maintenance, tire pressures, ect.
Good driving record. Safely transport our customers around town, making sound decisions and ensuring a friendly ride. Great customer service skills, and adaptable when need be. Must be able to be flexible and willing to help out when needed. At times, need to be able to tow customers’ vehicles, jump starts, and keep up to date license and health cards when applicable. Must be willing and able to comprehend specific tasks related to the operations of all vehicles in safe matters. Able to lift 50lbs and deliver tires correctly to the wholesale customers and ensuring paperwork is being signed and delivered to the right places. Good organization skills, trustworthy, friendly, and reliable.
High School Diploma, and some college preferred. Must possess a good driving record.
The purpose of the Service Technician is to have a highly trained and knowledgeable employee able to diagnose, inspect, repair, service and/or overhaul vehicle problems and maintenance.
All Service Technicians must be able to clearly demonstrate their physical and mental ability to perform services as well as detailed minor repairs. They must conduct every aspect of their job in an ethical manner. They must have the ability to explain the work needed to the service advisor/manager and to work well under pressure.
All Service Technicians must meet or exceed the standards set by the industry-recognized trade organizations. Service Technicians must be ASE Certified within 6 months of being hired and must complete master certification within two years of being hired.
Service Technicians are required to have all of the necessary hand tools needed to efficiently perform their duties. They must also have the ability and willingness to attend training classes. All Technicians must be able to work a minimum and produce a minimum of 40 hours per week on a regular basis.
