Mary, we’re sorry you were unhappy with your visit. After reviewing your records, we found the tires we sold you were installed about four years ago and now have over 49,000 miles. All four were worn, and one or more had steel belts showing — meaning the tire’s structure had failed and could blow out without warning. For safety and liability reasons, our technicians cannot rotate or balance tires in that condition, as doing so would only move the danger to another wheel. In cases like this, the industry standard is to replace all four tires. Mixing severely worn and new tires can cause uneven traction, poor braking, premature suspension wear, and unsafe handling — especially in wet or winter conditions. That often leads to higher repair costs and, more importantly, serious safety risks for you and others on the road. We offered to send your tires in for possible warranty credit and provided replacement options, but that was declined.
